NALCHIK. Jan 13 (Interfax-South) - The Interior Ministry of Russia's internal republic of Kabardino-Balkaria has offered a large reward for information in the killing of Col. Anatoly Kyarov, the head of the republic's Department for Combating Organized Crime.

"The Interior Ministry has asked citizens to help track down the criminals, who killed the head of the Department for Combating Organized Crime, and announced a large reward for information leading to the solution of this crime," the press service of the republic's Interior Ministry told Interfax on Sunday.

The search operations launched have not brought any results thus far, the press service said.
